Seahorse XF Pro

The Seahorse XF Pro utilizes a 96-well microplate format and label-free solid-state sensor technology to monitor cellular bioenergetics. By detecting real-time changes in oxygen and hydrogen ion concentrations in the extracellular microenvironment without direct contact with or damage to the cells, the instrument continuously measures the oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR). These parameters provide dynamic insights into cellular energy metabolism, including mitochondrial respiration and glycolytic activity.
