Practical operation and assessment
- Those who have participated in the FACSAiraIIu education and training organized by instrumentation center during the winter vacation every year, or those who need a large number of experiments immediately can ask the certified personnel or make an appointment with the administrator to accompany the machine. After being familiar with the operation process of the instrument, please ask the administrator for assessment and certification requirements to obtain the qualification
- If you cannot pass the manager's assessment, please re-familiarize yourself with the instrument operation and re-certify

Apply for Flow cytometry online appointment permission
- Please apply for an account in the CGU Reservation System, complete the verification in accordance with the regulations, and wait for the PI to approve, and then start the online appointment
Reservation method :
- CGU Reservation System are open every Monday at 09:00 in the morning to next week (Sunday). Reservations must be at least half an hour, and a single appointment cannot exceed eight hours.
- Unable to make an appointment for the same day schedule or change the bookings that have been reserved for the day. If the day ’s experiment has special reasons to cancel, please call the administrator
- If you cannot get on the plane at the agreed time, please cancel the appointment online one day in advance. Otherwise, you will be warned once and charged for the appointment.
- If you do not use the instrument at the appointment time and forget to cancel the appointment record for a total of 2 times, the appointment authority for the next month will be cancelled
- Schedule up to four times a week (working / popular times), unlimited during non-working times
- Please make an appointment with your personal account. It is forbidden to make an appointment with another person's account, and you cannot make an appointment for others.
- The user has delayed the use of the machine for some reason and exceeded the time period reserved by him. Please be sure to confirm whether other users continue to make appointments and contact them to inform them by yourself, or ask the administrator to assist in notification. If it is not dealt with, it will affect the use of next user. The next user or the administrator have the right to suspend the program to protect the rights of the person who made the appointment during the period. The administrator can notify PI of the violation and record a warning once.
Operating regulations :
- Do not wear gloves when operating computers and instruments; if you have infection doubts, wear gloves as an experimenter, please bring 70-75% alcohol and clean the touched items after the experiment.
- Please follow the normal procedures for power on and off and cleaning.
- Please fill in the instrument-logbook after use. During working hours, please notify the administrator if there is any abnormality; please explain the abnormal situation in the logbook during non-working hours. Do not adjust the instrument parameters or hardware parts by yourself.
- At the end of the experiment, please take away all the experimental items you brought, and jointly maintain a clean and tidy environment of the public instrument. Thank you.
Consumables (prepared by yourself) :
- Please help the center to prepare 1X PBS (approximately 5L) in advance, and filter the 1X PBS with a 0.22um Filter, then sterilize by autoclaving
- FALCON # 352052 Sample Loading Tube
- 200ul yellow tips or 1000ul blue tips, or 15ml Centrifugal Tube...etc
- Nylon Net Filter 30um-50um (For filtering cell clumps to avoid blockage of the machine), if it is a sterile sorting experiment, please sterilize first
0910 Room has access control. Non- Center personnel enter this room during off hours, please use your own access card to enter or apply to the administrator for a temporary access card. Users who have passed any flow cytometer certification can apply to administrator of Instrumentation Center for access control card settings.
